Lebron made him look like a kid :mjlol:
31ppg, 6 reboundz, 1 steal, 1 block, 55% fg, 39% from 3 is locking someone up now?

Servant was not the reason they lost. Google ended the age of :duck:

Russ terrible 3 point shooting and Harden shyttin the bed was why they lost

if kobe was on that ‘16 squad they win the chip

:deadrose:

Kobe + Westbrook would have been a horrific combination on offense, the team wouldn't have had anyone to focus their defensive energy on guards on defense, and the biggest reason the Thunder nearly won was by dumping the ball into their big men.

Imagine the Thunder with two guards taking 45-50 shots a game at 40% shooting on offense and then those two guys being forced to play defense on the other end.

If Kobe was on that 2016 squad they wouldn't have gotten past the Spurs in the WCSF. :francis:

At no point in Paus career was he a top 3 big.

Dirk
Duncan
Dwight
KG
Bosh
Then Pau
\

Did ya'all not see what Pau did with Dwight in 2009? Or what he did in the Finals in 2010?

By 2009-2011 Pau was definitely a top-3 two-way big man. He had all sorts of offensive touch and could give you 20 on that end inside and out while also dominating the boards and protecting the rim on defense.

Bosh was still one-dimensional, he didn't develop on the defensive side of the ball until 2012-2013. Dirk was always one-dimensional. Duncan and Garnett were on the decline by 2009.

After Yao's injuries took him down and Duncan/Garnett got older and past peak, I'm taking Dirk, Dwight, and Pau as the top 3 big men in the NBA over that 2009-2011 stretch, and Pau was the one of the three whose skills were most balanced on both ends.

He didn't though. :gucci:

He won a couple times (and lost a couple) in 1999-2004 when you had Shaq and Kobe doubling up against a Spurs team with Duncan and no other all-stars.

And then he won in 2008 when Ginobli was hurt and the Spurs were down to Duncan, TP, and a bunch of 36-year-olds who were waiting to retire. That Spurs team didn't do anything again until Kawhi came.
And he didn't have to share the ball with another low-% shooting ball-dominant defense-forgetting guard like Westbrook for any of those runs. :mjlol:

Yeah, we talking about Kobe though who got embarrassed by a MUCH worse version of Durant.

Didn't 33 year old Kobe get embarrassed by the same version of Durant that got embarrassed by Lebron? Even though Bosh was crippled and needed surgery after tearing his groin?

A 34 year old with a tenosynovitis shin getting locked up by a 24 year old. :francis:And KD put up 30 on 54% in the 2012 finals so what do you mean “lebron made look like a kid”? That thunder team went up against a prime Heat squad in which even Mike miller made a record 3s in game 5. Even Mario chambers was hitting that game compared to a thunder team where westbrook had one of the worse performances by a point guard in one of those games and harden was neither here nor there.

When he met a more experienced KD we seen what happened

Durant is like a 7 foot kobe :wow:

shyt really ain’t fair :picard:

But Kobe da gawd.

I do find it hypocritical that Durant will be punished for joining the warriors When other guys get pushed to top 3 status even while losing 3 out of the last 4 titles and 6 finals Ls overall... I ain’t gonna say no names tho :sas2:

This post derailed the thread. Yall sleepin though
