I don't give a fukk about Durant.. I'm :umad: at everyone turning on him though. :russ:

And if you really thought he would continue to keep selling shoes at $88.00 you need to give me your connect to where ever you buy your dope from.

Furthermore, who's to say he even had any input into the price in the first place. Furthermore, who gives a shyt :mindblown: if you don't like him don't buy his shoes.

We live in an era where everyone wants their opinion to matter. Even when its about topics that don't matter.
Turning on him? I made an assessment based on him turning on his own principles, validating why folks would, lose respect for him. But here you are acting as if he was talking about him millionaire at the time self not being able to afford an $88 shoe and saying he was insulting workingclass people saying they had trouble purchasing an expensive shoe.

Or maybe you mistook principles for marketing. He donated a million dollars to tornado victims in OKC. Donated bread to various other charities. But we talking about shoes and you talking about respect like you know him personally.

Like I said before, people live part of their lives through sports, entertainment and social media. They take shyt way too personal. If I don't fukk with somebody I simply don't fukk with them. If a shoe is dope I will cop it, if its not I won't. If I want to spend $88 or $800 on shoes, its my money. If KD wants to rationalize selling a $88 dollar shoe then turn around a rationalize selling a $500 dollar shoe.. its his shoe :manny: It aint that deep. He's older.. and his life is different. He's played in the NBA 9 seasons, been to places most can only dream of... OF COURSE he's gonna change. OF COURSE some of his "principles" will evolve.

Its like a vegan rationalizing why he a vegan and 8 years later he talks about how he use to be a vegan and why he eats chicken. Who the hell cares. That's life. people change. people grow. It is what it is.

Durant remembers having three pairs of shoes when he was a teenager and having one pair that he wore all around Seat Pleasant, Md.

"We couldn't afford the Pennys, the Pippens, the Jordans," Durant told The Oklahoman on Thursday. "I had one pair of Team Jordan's, and I wore them everywhere. I hooped in them, played football in them. I had some Shaqs from K-Mart and a pair of Tim Duncans. But I couldn't get a bunch of different ones like I wanted."

"If they were $125 I wasn't getting them, but $88, that's reasonable," Durant said. "Plus, I had a brother, too, so my mom wasn't paying $120 for two pairs of shoes. I put them at $88 and a lot of people have been buying them and that's what it's been like for the last couple years."

"I told Nike to make a foamposite pair of the KD IV," Durant said. "Hopefully people in DC will pick them up and support me. They always do that anyway but I'm sure if I throw some foams out there they will do it even more."

sure people change. but if some guy talks down on folks who eat chicken, then eat chicken themselves years later, that guy is gonna take a lil shyt. KD talked about how folks shouldnt be joining up on super teams and went and joined a superteam, and talked about shoes should be affordable and now is trying to justify them being almost doubled in price a few years later. awfully hypocritical. he could have just said "im not in control of how much my shoe costs" and kept it movin
