Gobert and IT are much better than decent players but the same teams are winning because all 30 teams arent putting a good faith effort towards winning, leading to a surplus of talent for top teams. Phoenix benched Tyson Chandler, Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight for a whole month last year. Adam Silver should have immediately gotten involved.
Less than 10 players account for about 80% of the championships for the past like 25 years. It's always been top heavy

Maybe he doesn't beat Lebron playing on any team in the east.

But he'd absolutely change the competitive balance of the league/conference by being there. Despite what he thinks.

And that's the only point I made.
He'd change the balance for ONE TEAM which is the pint he's driving home. One more team in the mix doesn't change competitive balance or drive parity. He did not ruin the league nor could he save the league only being able to affect ONE TEAM.

When you leave a team you immediately affect AT MINIMUM two teams:

The team you join, and the team you leave.
And depending on circumstances, it can affect more than that.

That's still only making ONE more team more competitive, whichever team he's on. Again, he can't save or affect the whole league. That's what he's addressing the people blaming him for the LEAGUE being bad this year. He can only add value to one team, not 2, not 6, not 30.

For what? Why?

They got shut down and they played the guys they intend on being around for the future. Nothing wrong with that.

What you're seeing now is that playing for pride has no benefit.

Seconds after losing in Game 7 to the GSW in game 7 after blowing a 3-1 lead KD congratulated the Warriors and said I'll see you soon. :hhh::scust::usure:
