My Pops Forever RIP
Honestly, I don't understand why these GMs and front office execs don't get more blame. Having seen what a terrible front office can do to a team first hand, I'm inclined to say that a lot of the NBA's parity issues also comes from trash employees building these teams to lose/fail. Spurs had no problem as a small market to be competitive because they have a great front office and coaching staff. I find it hard to believe that ONLY the Spurs are capable of doing that. These teams need to step their game up, it ain't just on the players especially when they're being put in situations where they can't succeed. :camby:

Simple: you can't fire the owner.

He's right

GM's out East are the fukking worst. They'd rather draft midget combo guards than get better and challenge Cleveland :scust:

Who are they drafting if they don't have a top 5 pick?

Lebron made the finals 7 years in a row. So for 7 years, you are saying these GMs were fukking around?

NBA has 2 rounds for a reason. There isnt enough star talent to go around. Go look in the past drafts and find a star/superstar in the late 1st/ 2nd round. You will find some decent players like gobert and Isiah Thomas, but no star talent like Lebron. That is why the same teams make it to the finals and win it every year.

that's not what I am saying. what I am saying is, he took the path to the championship he felt that was of least resistance. there is no other reason why you join a team like that. take Bron off the Heat or Cavs and they couldnt win more than 30-50 games. GS without KD already proven in reg and post season. he obviously isnt up for that type of challenge and is intimidated by Bron even though he probably wouldve gotten to the ECF with no problem.

also not sure why you are so sure Wizards with KD is worse than OKC. Wall is almost certainly a better fit next to KD than Russ is. Also all those players you mentioned that left OKC dont me shyt. Ibaka had ran his course and was looking very faded there. Waiters never really fit and its not like he is an elite jumpshooter, hence why the Cavs replaced him with J.R. who is definitely a better spot up shooter. I say Wiz would be better because although KD and Russ were unstoppable forces together, their weakness in the playoffs when it came to crunch time was stagnant ball movement and too much hero ball.

Wizards still have the worst bench in playoffs history and worse frontcourt than OKC. Hardly anyone thinks OKC would have beaten the Cavs in the Finals last season, so not sure what would be different with Washington. Do they then deal Beal to get Cousins or something?

Gobert and IT are much better than decent players but the same teams are winning because all 30 teams arent putting a good faith effort towards winning, leading to a surplus of talent for top teams. Phoenix benched Tyson Chandler, Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight for a whole month last year. Adam Silver should have immediately gotten involved.
