kd joining gs was like dolly parton getting a boob job.

he probably gonna win another title with gs and still be empty and depressed about it. probably already got his next social media alias on deck :mjlol:

he's a great player but he will never find true fullfillment in these titles he wins at gs. and people will always talk about the circumstances of him joining the best team in the league. just the way it is.

that's possibly how bron felt about miami and why he went back home, but winning a title in cleveland fixed all that. hate bron all you want but his legacy as one of the goats is already in stone and that's a fact. :manny:

Was Wade, Lebron and Bosh not the TOP 3 PERated players in the entire league at that time? Thats like Kobe, Duncan and McGrady joining the same team in the East when the Hawks are winning 65 games but think THEM playing together isn't a championship team playing the fukking Mavericks.:gucci:

so the 2010 were a championship team? :russ:

lebron threw the 2011 finals so wade wouldn't get finals mvp

In the most technical sense of the word, the Miami Heat were a championship team because it had won a title prior to LeBron getting there.

But obviously, they weren't a true contender at the time.

All I know, is that for all the slander KD gets for joining the Warriors -- a ready-made champion that lost in the Finals prior to this -- Kevin Durant, so far, has been the single biggest reason why the Warriors have stomped the Cavs the last two years.

yeah KD ruined what could've been the best nba rivalry since lakers celtics smh

GSW doesn't get past Houston without KD, especially if CP3 doesn't get hurt in Gm. 6.

Meh you don't know that. It's a competitive series in which the best player on whoever teams shows up wins. Just like the WCF in 2016. Steph and Klay showed out when it mattered most. But y'all would rather Steph and Klay not have to ball out every game, take nights off and still win as long as Lebron doesn't win the finals.

Steph played GARBAGE. Bron Stans mad as shyt. They know if KD wasn’t on the Warriors the Cavs would’ve won 3 rings by now. Steph IMO is too streaky to be a dependable first option in the Finals against LeBron. Steph wouldn’t have been able to beat LeBron by himself with both teams healthy and Bron Stans know that, that’s why they so butthurt :russ: That was my opinion in 2016, still my opinion now. When Steph gets hot, he’s the absolute greatest nba shooter but when he’s cold he’s irrelevant out there. And it happens way too often when he’s playing Bron. KD isn’t as electrifying as Steph is but his offense is more dependable.

So KD is like prime Larry Fitzgerald in football...you know he's getting 80 to 90 catches and 1200 to 1500 yds.

Steph is like a much, much better DeSean Jackson. Explosive but not really a #1.

:ehh: agree with this.

I think Steph is damn good, but he's more of a 1.5/2 instead of a true #1 option. Good enough to get you to the dance but I don't think he's got enough in the tank to "will" a squad to the promised land. He's never been the best player in the Finals after 4 trips. Iggy was that dude for the 1st, LeBron/Kyrie in #2, KD last year and probably KD this year. Honestly Steph is in a better position than just about any athlete in sports. He gets the benefit of being seen as a superstar #1 (on that KD/LeBron etc tier), but doesn't really take heat when he plays like shyt for 90% of the game. All upside and no downside.

Man I still don't get the hate KD gets... the fuk yall want him to do? Leave OKC and sign with the Grizzlies? He was a free agent and signed with the team that gave him the best shot of winning... Players do it literally every summer :manny: except Melo... he don't care bout winning :russ:

I'm saying that Houston and Cleveland are REALLY close to GSW without KD. It's literally a toss up. GSW recognized that 'Bron is strong enough to overcome their squad because he's a true #1 ace while Steph, Klay and Draymond are really #2 and #3 type dudes. KD is not an 'Alpha' in personality (like Russell Westbrook) but KD most certainly has 'Alpha' game on the court. GSW didn't need a leader, but they needed talent. KD is the trump card. He can match any other NBA superstar bucket for bucket....so Steph/Klay/Dray can focus 100% on what they do best.
