The 3 best players that year joined the same team. Thats def a championship team which is why they made it to the Finals. The irony that 2010 Heat team with THE TOP 3 RATED PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE isnt a championship team but this Warriors team with the EXACT SAME RECORD is the greatest team of all time but DOES NOT have the top 3 rated players.
I dont care about all this GS/Cavs stuff outside of entertainment on the coli but you cant sit there with a serious face and say the Heat wasnt a championship team breh.

I think Steph is damn good, but he's more of a 1.5/2 instead of a true #1 option. Good enough to get you to the dance but I don't think he's got enough in the tank to "will" a squad to the promised land. He's never been the best player in the Finals after 4 trips. Iggy was that dude for the 1st, LeBron/Kyrie in #2, KD last year and probably KD this year. Honestly Steph is in a better position than just about any athlete in sports. He gets the benefit of being seen as a superstar #1 (on that KD/LeBron etc tier), but doesn't really take heat when he plays like shyt for 90% of the game. All upside and no downside.

Bruh KD wont be mentioned among jordan, kobe or lebron. Im being objective. The narrative will always be him joining a 73 win team. Im from oakland. been a warriors fan since i was ten. But im an nba fan first. Kd winning rings wont mean much like lebron with the heat. Bron gets more props for bringing this cavs team to the finals cuz of the numbers he puts up.
He wasnt gonna get mentioned in that regard even if he stayed in OKC and won 2. Thats a media hype as far as the whole "remembered as". If you arent the person that the league invests in then you arent gonna be with those guys without winning 5-6 rings. If youre a real basketball fan, you wont need to worry about that type of stuff really. I dont need anyone to remind me of how good Penny was or Gary Payton etc. The only ring people will really remember for Lebron will be the one in Cleveland if we being honest. GS run has rendered what the Heat accomplished less significant. But us real fans wont forget anything nor detract when its all said and done because of semantics around a player. KD getting these two is side by side with the Heat rings to me. What Lebron has is the Cleveland ring that will be heralded. Rightfully so.
