nikkas be in here drunk every year trying to make Tyler Herro the centerpiece of a trade for a superstar lol nobody wants him like that
I mean... Tyler Herro is better than Jalen Green. Looking at what PHX got back for KD, I guess Miami could have got a trade done.

Funny thing about the Suns is that they could have traded KD to Miami in Feb for Jimmy theoretically right?

Durant didn’t want to trade to a new team, midseason. Durant had multiple trade offers on the table at the deadline. Phoenix jsut honors his wishes

I understand that. As an executive, sometimes you have to say disregard that. In this case, I would not give af what KD preferred or wanted considering everything that PHX gave up to acquire him.

All this play nice shyt is clearly not working when it comes to building out a real roster.

The bigger part is that it was actually Golden State that backed out once he expressed that he wouldn’t re-sign. It wasn’t Phoenix bowing down to him: the Warriors were unwilling to make the trade with the possibility of KD not re-signing.

They jumped back in the lottery this year, that doesn't happen w/ a Miami trade unless another team gets involved.

I would argue PHX valued that just as much as trading for someone, who plays the same position as the guy they claim they're still building around. If not more so

shyt is wild. Even if they got KD and kept mostly the same team, they’d still be getting booted in the first round. Heat fans come with this same shyt, every year, like crackheads thinking they can “get right back” when they’re years beyond a capable roster.
