Where did you read that? I’ve never heard of him being an option.
Reading and listening to rockets media post trade. Remember that Houston offered both Jabari and Jalen green at the deadline for Durant but no draft picks. Reading between the lines seems like they refused to include both now that they were open to including the 10 picks but no other first round picks fro the future.

Reading between the lines the suns made this deal becaue the other teams weren’t budging and they also wanted to control the draft selection. they must’ve tho g this was goin to be the best deal they could get this summer. They should’ve called Houston bluff. I think Jabari is better than prospect they can get at #10. Would’ve rather had Jabari, Jalen, and Dillon. Houston said they were ok running it back but I don’t think Ime was.

it's true tho. Suns fans blamed him for every loss when things weren't going right. The roster was ass, but KD def makes All-NBA if he hit that 65 game threshold.

It clearly wasn't his fault. Suns fans are dumb tho. Once he leaves and the suns are terrible once again, don't blame him
It is his fault in a lot of ways because he gave some phony logic about how he didn't want to be traded mid season last year (even though he was traded at his request mid season from BK to PHX).
He basically pushed the button with PHX before they acquired him (he requested to play for them only). He didn't care about timing or what the cost was.
He sold them a dream because he promoted himself as the missing piece to a championship ready roster and did absolutely nothing to elevate the team.

Instead he played a pivotal role in 3 head coaches being fired, a slew of future assets being mortgaged away, advocating for Beal, and sabotaging his value on the way out the door on 2 different occasions (traded deadline and his list of preferred destinations).

He was given the keys to the team and drove them straight off a cliff with no remorse because he always relies on his individual numbers.

The mentality of the team changed drastically when Kd took over and CP3 left. They lost that passion and dog mentality they had when Crowder, Bridges, and CP3 was there. I think thats why the gm and owner of the suns pushed for Dillon Brooks to be involved in the trade. Brooks is like Draymond when it comes to being the tone setter for the team, emotionally and competitively.

Yeah the Suns been a soft ass jump shooting team ever since CP3 left. Not much athleticism either so in that context, the move makes sense. You can at least see they’re attempting to build an identity and get younger

They still need to get rid of Beal and swap out the extra guards for more depth but honestly I’d rather watch a rebuilding team play with some heart than another low effort super team flop so fukk it. The Phoenix Spartans can’t possibly be worse than that shyt we endured last year :hubie:

The Suns were literally a top 10 defense under Vogel, what are you talking about? The team changed when they literally didn’t have defenders on the team. It’s not that complicated.

The money doesn’t even add up for that to work. Phoenix is in the second apron. Green would have to be in the deal regardless. Jabari isn’t mathematically possible. That’s why Brooks is in the deal. His money added up.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Phoenix gets better. Beal is there to the end.

The rumored Jabari deal included FVV

Good trade for both sides imo :hubie:

Feel like Rockets are 1 piece away. KD elevates them for sure, they needed a go to scorer /closer.

Suns should just happy they got a lotto and some young pieces

Rockets should be light weight be heavyweight title contenders.

Fred
Amen
Kd
Le guin
Adams

Plus a coach who been there and squandered it unfocused last time.

With all the injuries to other teams.

Kd outta get this team on a page for a ship and there should be no excuses.

Contracts wouldn’t work because the Suns are second apron. Brooks and Green had the contracts.
Smh they need to get rid of the cap. If they do that the Knick's will win cause we got the most money smh
