By the way, duped by a fake quote or not, multiple people, including Steve Kerr and Draymond Green have publicly stated that based on his behavior around them they felt KD felt pretty much exactly the way the fake quote portrayed him as. So Shannon is wrong to say KD said it (although KD has said he doesn't think it's a fact that Bron is better than him), but his take is still on point.
KD was clearly bothered by Shannon disapproving of his emotional sensitivity. KD also does the same thing he judges Shannon for: he said he was on tv "lying" about him but falsely reporting a quote you believe to be true of course isn't the same as lying. So KD is misrepresenting Shannon in public too, in fact, more deliberately than Shannon misrepresented him.
But Coli posters will only say this logic is caping for Shannon even when it's facts. And FYI: this is coming from someone who wants the Nets to win and who's rooting for KD to catch up to LeBron in ring count.
