Shannon could have just said my bad or I will discuss it internally and keep it moving. He was wrong with criticism of KD on a fake quote in public. i agree that shannon and fox was in the wrong for pushing that fake story, but something similar happened in the past with jay williams and once jay was corrected he apologized. fake stories get wrongfully published all the time and this won't be the last time. can't waste your energy on these things. make a post saying it's fake, have your agent or publicist release a statement to correct shannon/fox and move on.

it's a sports talk show and the producers got fake information from the internet. this has happened before with jay williams who is supposed to be close to KD.



the producers were probably going over topics and added this in there and shannon ran with it so i won't completely blame shannon for this. if KD's team simply released a statement saying it was fake or if KD approached shannon more respectfully instead of calling him the drunk uncle then maybe the conversation would've ended differently. wouldn't surprise me if more people try to troll KD now to get a reaction out of him.
