Marvel said years ago they're not doing any more 10 year arcs. They're gonna do mini-arcs with bigger movies in between.

Obviously they had to pivot from Kang to Doom but the timing of the movies didn't change at all. They announced "Kang Dynasty" (now "Doomsday") in 2022. The time line is exactly the same.

As long as Doom wrecks sh*t in "Doomsday" nobody is gonna care if this is all rushed leading up to it. People seem to forget MCU Thanos was seen as a joke prior to the opening 5 minutes of "Infinity War".

thanos getting his skull pulled out of his ass was funny, but that only worked because doom was powered by molecule man. i dont even think dude has been mentioned in the mcu so im curious how they plan on pulling that off

Not sure if/how they plan on getting him to God Emperor status
Perhaps he comes into the MCU in his final form (that would feel like cheating though)

It's hard to see how the movie can give all those characters screen time unless it's like 4 hours long.

I also think doom gets powers like beyonder powers and they can't stop him which leads into secret wars/ battleworld like the comics... there's alot they not telling us...

Apocalypse is dumb strong and a threat BUT onto the other beings in the marvel universe he's not that much stronger compared to other beings... it also depends on who writes him...

There was a parody account (Lonely Thanos) on Twitter that got so popular the Russos started following it.

You can pull up dozens of old threads on here doubting he'd ever be a credible threat in the MCU, due to all the above.

And all that was forgotten when "Infinity War" started.

So as long as Doom is good in "Doomsday", nobody is gonna give a f*ck about anything else.
