Who says they arent? The same people who refuse to lift a finger to change it? Listen black on black crime is a fallacy. Plenty of wealthy, middle class, and lower class black people who are not out killing each other. And for the ones who do live in cities with high black mortality rates you always find higher rates else where in the city. Highest rate of drop out. Highest rate of poverty. Highest rate of unemployment. There is a science to the violence. A science that is shown to be truthful all over the world...poverty and oppresion breeds violence, crime, and remorseful behavior. Its not a black issue. Its not a black thing. Its a poor people thing...as stated. So until we can fix that deeper issue I dont want hear some black on black crime physco babble nonsense.

Let's examine this, Chicago has a 25% homicide clearance rate, 488 homicides last year, that's about 366 murders without anyone going to jail. 34-102 unarmed black men killed by Police in 2015, that means more people are freely walking around the streets of one city with bodies than in all the precincts in America combined.

• Unarmed black people were killed at 5x the rate of unarmed whites in 2015
• Only 10 of the 102 cases in 2015 where an unarmed black person was killed by police resulted in officer(s) being charged with a crime, and only 2 of these deaths (Matthew Ajibade and Eric Harris) resulted in convictions of officers involved. Only 1 of 2 officers convicted for their involvement in Matthew Ajibade's death received jail time. He was sentenced to 1 year in jail and allowed to serve this time exclusively on weekends. Deputy Bates, who killed Eric Harris, will be sentenced May 31.

If you want to move on to talk about bias in judicial system I'd like to see how many cops were charged for killing unarmed whites vs unarmed blacks.

I don't really understand when people try to discredit people moving against police murders by bringing up 'black-on-black crime". The latter has its perpetrators almost always caught and prosecuted under the fullest extant of the law, while the former almost never results in anything other than a paid vacation.
