Cats were honestly ready to crown anybody the "New Nas" for years & we still haven't seen anyone remotely close to him... everyone from Ali Vegas to Jay Electronica has been hailed as the Savior off jump & look where they are now. T.I. put in over a decade of work including multiple #1 Billboard Hits, multiple Platinum & Gold records, several Image changes, maturity & survived several beefs on wax & the streets. He earned his reputation... can we at least wait until Gates drops another album before we do this? Cats are given titles without having to put in any work anymore...

His next album could be garbage or could take him to the next level, but let's wait & see... titles & crowns are being handed out very reactionary & ADD-like these days wouldn't you agree?

If those 4 albums are classics then the barometer is really low you must think mediocre albums don't exist.

Those aren't necessarily classic albums to me, or the genre, just they had classics on them, and some of the music was classic to me....'Trap Muzik' is arguable.

I'd say Juvenile influence is definitely there and I hadn't looked at it like that before with the melodies he does, but personally I think it's disrespectful to a legend to compare Kevin Gates to Soulja Slim
