Modern Egypt =/= Ancient Egypt
The modern folks are mostly Arab and think it's "their" history......Ancient Egypt was diverse. You had Black, white and brown Pharoahs....but most were brown/Black until the very end when the Euros came in.
Egypt was more like America in that being Egyptian didn't automatically mean you looked a certain way. Compared to "China" where 99.9% of the people there look Chinese or some kind of East Asian.
Whites battle us on Egypt because their whole identity is tied to us being somehow inferior....so all the colonization they did was justified. They don't even understand African history and think that the only civilization was Egypt. They don't even know about Songhai, old Mali, BaKongo etc. They like the idea that we just lived in huts and did nothing until they arrived.....since all they know about African history is Egypt, they got to go out of their way to separate modern Blackness from it.
It would be like Black folks saying that Ancient Greece and Rome were separate from Europe.....Euros don't do that shyt. They claim all their history as one because they want the credit, even their ancestors were just peasants living under Danelaw.
Modern Arab Egypt claiming Ancient history is like a 100% Euro Spanish dude from Mexico claiming Aztec and Mayan shyt. Like yeah you "from" there but your lineage isn't from there and your history is from elsewhere (in Europe, not the Americas).
