If you look objectively at $$$, stats and sales etc., they are probably near the top if not #1. Based on preferences and who people actually like, they rank high but no one would ever say they are the best.

Druski is the closest (for comedy) but even then I can’t point to one set, joke, or stand up he’s well known for. I just know him from seeing him on social media

Right now it's sad to say but Kevin Hart has the game on lock in terms of making the most money / business moves. He has captured all audiences not just black. He's likeable and has the studios on the palm of his hands. Plus he's managed to stay out of trouble and gossip sites. Someone said it right he is truly the LeBron of comedy. Before him it was Eddie Murphy. Then there's the real true comedy geniuses like Chapelle and Katt who have a little crazy in them and fade away from the limelight here and there.
