I think they’re about even with one classic apiece and 2 more REALLY good ones. I’ll say that even if Katt’s newer stuff isn’t great overall I laugh more than I do at Kevin’s newer material. Kevin has shifted to being a better comedic actor than a stand up comedian in recent years whereas Katt is still sharp.

But Hart isn’t just some unfunny nikka. He def in his element is high level. Him destroying Meek and his crew in real life showed there are “levels” to being funny - like how we call a bench nba player a bum when they would beat us 10000 to 0, that’s Kevin Hart to the rest of us, and he’s not a bum.

People are not a fan of his because you can tell he crossed over or “sold out” and makes corny shyt for the bag, I can’t hate on him but i also don’t watch the stuff, but naturally he is definitely more talented than most humans at being funny. He’s kinda like a rapper who could’ve made Illmatic but instead makes billions making pop songs.

Jamie wasn’t punishing shyt Kev had that nikka damn near threatening to blackball him when Kev was going in on his hairline.

Jamie also went on radio afterwards and admitted that Kevin roasted him. He said verbatim “Kevin Hart came on Foxxhole and L’d the whole crew”

The problem isn't whether or not you personally think Kev is funny, it's that people have seemingly collectively forgot Kev grinded and literally was the "it" nikka in comedy around 2007-2010 (my years might be a little off). The collective public DID think he was funny as shyt for a period of time, and now people want to rewrite history and say he was never funny and was a plant. Mothafukkas quote these specials to this day.

It's the success/underdog effect. I personally don't think he's funny anymore, because he seems like The Rock; he's more concerned with making money more than putting out something good.

Katt was on the come up roughly around the same time, and if you haven't noticed by now...justified or unjustified, comedians tend to be extremely bitter towards their peers. Katt comes off as bitter in regards to Kev. And Katt, is unequivocally more talented than Kev. I say this as a Philly nikka. But Kev played the game better. If that's a plant to you, there really isn't much else to talk about because we're not even arguing from the same perspective.
