Households and value of education is severely lacking. School systems are horrible.

Every one of us has a doctorate in any subject you wish to pursue.. you carry it with you everyday and you're on it right now.

If you lack information its only cause you lack ambition. And back inna day you had to go find books. Now all you have to do is open a new tab.

So we lack information cause its not being given to us and we wait til we're 30 to decide to seek it.

Hes right. Financial literacy is a problem for most Americans i would even say. People stay getting caught up in scams for this reason too. You have people getting pulled into pyramid schemes everyday and fukking up what little money they have.

Talking to a banker can be a life changing experience because they can break it down for you. How to make your money stretch, how to make it collect interest, putting it in mutual funds and ETFs etc.

He aint lying. A lot of us are way behind or get on the train late when it comes to knowing thing that other groups have been knowing about/doing for some time.

At 30 i became aware of investing and at 31 i got my first credit card and i only became aware of these things due to a peer letting me know or myself doing my own research to find out.

Unfortunately many of our parents haven't put us on the game when it comes to financal education and other methods of making money and just as unfortunate their parent did the same to them so they didn't know any better.

It's really up to us to start early and teach our children from a young age about financial literacy.
