I think the reason they play Love so much is politcal at this point..

Cavs gave up 100M's and the # 1 Draft pick for him and its next to impossible to get fair trade value back.. So they have to kinda play this guy (protect an asset) who's going to be a big part of the franchise for the next 4 years or so

I'm not an anti-analytics guy but Kevin Love in Minnesota is a prime example of how stats can be misleading.

Those same analytics show why those Wolves team did nothing. ass 4Q player couldn't close games for them and his arguably league worse rim protection and help defense contributed to them being one of the bottom defenses. Also, dude was notorious for stat-padding his rebound totals.

He needs to put on the weight he had before because he's soft AF now.

Man everytime I watch Love play it just makes appreciate Chris Bosh so much more. Dude played the background willingly and sometimes he'd disappear offensively but he just impacted a game 1000 times more than Love ever could...quick feet could switch out the pick and roll better than any big man...hit big shots , was always in there battling and making key plays while still allowing Lebron to be Lebron. His defense in 2013 finals was A1 but nobody really remembers. Lebron must really miss that dude.
