nikkas talking about weed fixing mental health :mjlol:

I know people personally, that didn't start having mental health issues or were tweaking out until after they started smoking heavily. That shyt manifested itself into some real demonic shyt. Stop recommending that to mentally unstable people... it's a known fact that it can compound their issues and trigger a lot of fukkery in their heads :smh:
People love to justify their addictions.

Weed (as a starter) has destroyed a few people that I grew up around.

Yeah man, weed can function as a trigger for panic attacks for a lot of people. THC doesn't always have a positive effect and high for folks. It's why you get people talking about weird paranoia and why if the certain triggers in that person are met, those are anxiety/panic attacks. It can even trigger schizophrenia in people if those people are already prone to developing it. My best friend hit the blunt while we were rolling down the blvd in college and I had to spend the next 8 hours at his crib trying to keep him from suicide.

It can be gradual or it can just one day fukking hit you and trigger an episode, shyt is scary. It's important to remember that despite the benefits of THC and cannabis, it's still got mind altering properties that can have very, very adverse effects on people who are susceptible to it.
Breh shyt happened to me when I was young, stopped smoking asap. I used to smoke a few blunts a day too. One day hit a blunt and could never smoke again. I even tested the waters a few years later needed the ambulance shyt got so bad.

One thing I will say seems like you need sugar asap in those situations. From what I remember the panic attack came from the thc causing my blood sugar to drop and adrenalin being raised basically a woat combo.

I don't really know how people experience things like anxiety, boredom, helplessness etc once they are old enough to be independent. Like I remember being a kid and wondering what the fukk I was going to do with my day and how simple shyt in the future would be something to look forward to but who the fukk has time for those thoughts as an adult? Not trying to be insensitive, I just don't understand.

Peace to Kevin Love but I can see why Isaiah spazzed on him (allegedly) in the locker room after one of these episodes. He had to push through his little sister dying, being injured and trying to win a playoff series, while Kevin Love is looking for a pity party pat on the back for his emotional state in a regular season game against the worst team in the nba.

People are truly built differently.

Our environment causes it. If you lived in the woods, you would probably panic if you couldn't find food. Living in society is just different. What we see, hear, experience affects how we feel, and we use multiple words to describe one feeling. Like worry and anxiety is the same thing. I didn't read the article yet, but maybe he panicked because he felt like he was under a lot of pressure from the team? Who knows. Hunters and gatherers did not worry when food was there, so klove has to do whatever he can to not experience the worry, panic, and anxiety.

Can be anything.

shyt you can catch a panic attack from being dehydrated. They are your bodies way of telling you something is not right.

yeah i was perfectly fine before i started experience mine, i had palpitations, feeling like i was going to faint, feeling like i was going to die, neck tightened, sweating like im at a gym even at room temp, feeling walls were closing down on me, its not fun. Magnesium deficiency seems to cause alot of panic attacks for me taking natural calm basically a magnesium supplement got rid of most of myattacks

I remember the second time I had some edbiles, had the worst panic attack I've ever experienced :pachaha:

First time I didn't feel shyt so the next morning I woke up and doubled my dose on an empty stomach, that shyt was no joke :snoop:

Sober panic attacks are worse for me though, at least when I'm high I can rationalize that it's the drugs and calm down fairly quick. The feeling of imminent doom is the worst though.

white privilege at its finest

Nothing to do with white privilege at all...hell we have examples of our black athletes melt down with out explaination as well. ..ala Bron in 2011, Kyle L. needing to decompress against the Cavs, Harden in game 6 last year and many Bros in this thread giving examples...not sure how you can underestimate when the brain/mind starts to interpret something that's really isn't happening as white privilege..

Yeah that lexapro is bad news, it can ruin your life/make you lazy/not give a shyt and etc. Yeah it does the job but the side effects are much worse. I never had to deal with it but i worked in a brain injury/was hands on with clients, bunch of smh moments.

Breh when i took that shyt, doc gave me 10mg. That shyt had me loopy and fukked up for a day and a half and gave me panic attacks throughout the whole day. I jumped in a cold shower to get my mind distracted and i swear to u my mind wouldnt stop racing. I was thinking a millions thoughts at once and it wouldnt go away. It was the type of shyt that would make u lose ur mind or blow ur brains out. fukk Lexapro and fukk that psychiatrist. Ur suppose to start out at 2-5mg and then gradually increase it.
