I know they have him on the team for his ability to stretch the court. He'll be effective when the US plays Spain and want to force their bigs out of the paint. Don't know why he's bytching now.

The T-Wolves doesnt have much besides Love but dont act like KG didn't take the T-Wolves to the playoffs with as much talent before.

So he scores just as well as those players, and is a better rebounder, and you can't see him as being better than them?

I'm not even saying he is, but for y'all to think it isn't even plausible is funny. I'd see with Garnett because defensively he accounts for a lot, but Dirk, who had one of his worst seasons last year? Stat? Randolph? He was definitely better than those players.

Because Bosh is so underrated I wouldn't throw him in there, and Aldridge too. But Love is top 3 right now.

again like i said...there are no other scorers on the team so love's offensive numbers will be inflated.....don't forget before melo got there Stat was top 3 in scoring, averaging 10 boards a game, and was playing good defense () in that paint. Its all on personnel. The wolves have NOBODY and for as long as they are in minny they will have NOBODY. Don't forget beasley averaged about 20 in that offense the year before. Love doesn't shoot a good % for a big, he shot 44% last year. And yes, i would take a HEALTHY ZBo that destroyed the spurs. More post moves, good mid-range game, and better low post defense than Love, and zbo is a great passer on the move, and no...don't you dare bring up that outlet pass shyt...smh........

now dont get me wrong, i like love, he's surprised EVERYONE this year...he made me a believer in that Game he dropped 50 against the Thunder....he is by no means a scrub..love is great, but i'm not gonna sit here and say this dude is the best PF in the game when dudes can put up better offensive numbers if they were on that team.

I don't know man, there are several posts in recent threads about MN Doom that are beyond asinine. Do people hate white dudes that much? I'm pretty sure I just read that Aldridge, Josh Smith, and Amare are currently better than Kevin Love.

I don't hate dude. I just think it's asinine for folks to say he's the best PF in the league. He may have scored all those points, but I'd still take Bosh, KG, LMA, Dirk, Pau and Z-Bo over him without any hesitation.

Reb, you have no idea how much shyt I've read over a player I try hard not to defend.

He's a stat padder.

He's a system player.

He purposely grabs rebounds

He's in the paint all the time and shoots threes all the time

If you put a bunch of rebounders worse than him alongside him he'll rebound like D.J. Augustin

All while they're fantasizing about their team signing him in 3 years. Real odd.

This is what it comes down to with Kev and why he's poppin off so much. He's a player that turned out to be so much better than what anyone thought of him, however he's still not as good or valuable as he thinks he is.

cant name a better rebounding PF...

So why would his numbers be inflated if they don't have anyone on the team? Wasn't he supposed to be a guy people here only thought was gonna be a 12/9 guy, some Nick Collison-type of player? Beasley scored very inefficiently- thus, why he's no longer on the team. Love's arguably the most efficient player in the league outside of LeBron, and that's with a shooting percentage only brought down by the spike in 3 point volume he has AND an offense that doesn't run through him.

I'm not even saying he's the best PF in the game, but there's no way to assume this would go down. That being said, because of how deep the PF position is, that's one position where I'm not worried about production whether Love's here or not.
