Who doesn't want to play with talent around them? How is that even news worthy. It would be newswothy if he said "I don't give a fukk about winning. Who cares if we don't make the playoffs." He just saying what I would expect any player on a losing team, especially a perennial loser to say.
He's clearly angling for a trade if they don't get better and setting the stage for his departure. If they aren't better by the end of his new deal he will most certianly be gone.
People that want to be "the man" and prove to the world they're the next Jordan and it's "their team"..
Larry Bird never demanded a trade.. He just single handedly won multiple championships and MVP's from the strength of his own will...

the 80's. I have nothing but respect for Magic and Bird and other legends but I wish I could travel back in time and bring them each individually to present day and put them on the Bobcats in place of MKG and with no major moves made and see how they would do there. Whats funny is we saw how Mike struggled early in his career before Scottie and how Kobe struggled between Shaq and Pau but nikkas just conveniently ignore that shyt and act like nikkas are supposed to be able to will their teams to victories. People are so in love with that movie narrative bullshyt that they can't/won't look at the shyt realistically. It's always fun to deconstruct the bullshyt arguments though.
