If Kevin Love played defense or committed to it more, his team would have made the playoffs by now. So he needs to look at himself and become a defensive anchor if he thinks he has greatness

Kevin Love is a face-up post shooter..whereas Dirk is a mid-range jumpshooter, really plays like a SF, usually comes off screens to shoot mid-range J's...Love is in the post ALOT more than Dirk..and is 10x the rebounder..just because theyre white and shoot jumpers dont make them the same player

Supid excuse?..I thought it was just the way things worked. If your in tougher conference, its gonna be harder to make the playoffs. When you look at the fact they lost Rubio, there is no way in hell they should be making the playoffs in the West.

For the millionth time, you're asking Love to be something he's incapable of being. He's improving as a help defender. His man to man will always suck, especially against bigger players. It's like asking Earl Boykins to be a better shot blocker. All you can do is mask his deficiencies with the C or SF. Pek masks it to a certain extent on man to man. Derrick (or whoever's SF) must improve in on help D.

I'll even say this (and I dare you to disagree): his defense is better than his passing.

I was just discussing this with some guys from my job and we all agree that Love seems like a "team cancer" for these statements...We thought he was a "class act" and "high character" player at first but upon further review, he seems like a "me first" player who is also possibly a "thug"...

Bullshyt. He's more mobile than he used to be. He doesn't play D well against bigger players. This has been the case since high school when he was 280 pounds. He's not explosive enough to challenge shots and plays below the rim. It's not like Melo where if he was only interested in D he could play. He's forever limited in his abilities on that end of the court.

so which part of this are you debating?....im gonna assume its not the reboundig part, as Love only came 2nd behind Dwight Howard in that category...and its not really debatable that Love is in the post more than Dirk...
