It's also tough when your starting (rookie) Pg goes out with an ACL injury

The west is by far the tougher conference from top to bottom

The east may have the best team and in fact have some great teams at the top, but outside of 2-3 teams the east is complete trash


It's not really an excuse here. you just have to take everything in to account when judging why the t-wolves haven't made the playoffs base on Love alone.

is team before last year was trash, add Rubio and they were actually playing pretty good and in contentioin for a playoff seed before Rubio got injured


they were 26-40 to finish the year but ffter Rubio went down they went 5-20 (tank mode)

so before Rubio got injured they were 21-20. Which isn't too bad

:stopitslime: in the fukking East, how many sub 500 teams made the playoffs, teams that miss the playoffs in the West, would damn near be a 3 or 4 seed in the East

He's ONE OF the best PF's in the league, this is undeniable. I do believe that what he's saying is that he can't alone take his team to even the playoffs when a lot of the teams nowadays are stacking themselves with "Big 3's". This is the same kind of frustration I'm sure Kevin Garnett felt during his years putting the Timberwolves on his back basically by himself. Garnett, back then, was enough to get his them to the Off's year after year but in 2012 it's a different league. No one was taking shyt out of context. What you said just now is probably true on a general level, but this dude straight talked about greatness surrounding itself with greatness in reference to himself as wanting to be surrounded by greatness as well. This dude is not that ill to be talking like that. There's about 6 guys in the league who can call themselves great. He's not one of them.
