the crazy thing is, up until yesterday, i thought the black dude that originally sung the song was the one that died. i had no clue that a country singer had remade it. so i was under the assumption that kevin sharp was the black dude from the tony rich project, or whatnot.

i know about the death because they mentioned it on the steve harvey morning show. granted i was prolly half-sleep so i dont recall exactly what was said but i heard them mention the tony rich project. and i dont recall them saying the words "remake". not sure tho.

then they played a clip of the song. i couldnt tell you which one they played since they sound so similar.

LOL, I remember that song. Everyone usually blasts Medicina de Amor, but a lot of those old Raulin songs are classics.
Careful though, it'll make you wanna drink...or cry, hahaha.

I think I've heard something similar to "North Cacalaca" referencing California.
But North Carolina...I can dig it.
