Honestly I think if he comes back he's gonna be kept clear off tv for a bit, just be on a legends contract and do network stuff and the "proper" apology will be on JBL's legend show or Austin's podcast. Probably JBL and the only appearances will be run in surprises (Like what Austin/Michaels/Foley did at Mania)
Even if the tapes didnt surface, if there's one thing we learned from his last return, whether its because of him or there souless McMahon approved script, dude cant cut a promo without sounding like a make em talk action figure on botch and if you put him out there with an audience they gonna get bored and brink that shyt up
