this is what happens when you recruit by 5 Star ranking, rather than needs to fit ur scheme.
You gotta recruit kids who want to play for the school. Not just bc ur hot right now and have e cool new jerseys.
He just needs to go find an instate qb who really wants to play for Texas a&m. Might only be a 3 star kid, but the right coaching and a chip on his shoulder can make him great.

Problem is he's had 4 or 5 highly recruited qb's transfer in the past few years. Somethings wrong over there to have that many transfer

Who wanted to play. He had a backlog, and they didn't like sharing time. Allen started off ok but dropped off and got benched, all the while murray pouted like a baby and bytched about not playing, then murray played a little bit then got hurt and never really played again.
I mean from the outside I don't see anything that sumlin did wrong.
Like I said in another thread these kids need to become smarter in where they commit to. Only 1 qb can play at a time. Don't go to a school that signed a 4/5 star guy the year before you. It's not smart. Especially when the kid is a brat and thinks it should be handed to him.

I think I read where Sumlin used to sell insurance or some shyt...dude is a smooth talker who can recruit his ass off because of his mouthpiece and he has the charisma of a cool ass uncle to these kids. The nicca can't coach or develop players for shyt though.

This. When 'Kenny The Trill is Gone' Hill transfer everyone was blaming the parents, now it's clear with 2 qbs gone it's more than the parents or these young qbs can't handle adversity. There are some issues with Sumlin, don't think he needs to be fired but someone needs to ask him why all his blue chip quarterbacks want out.
