After two seasons of Mortal Kombat: Legacy, director Kevin Tancharoen is apparently ready to move on from Scorpion, Sub Zero, Liu Kang and the rest of the Tournament fighters. Were you looking forward to seeing his vision on the big screen or relieved he's off the project?

Tancharoen first got the attention of Warner Bros. and Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon with this 2010 short Mortal Kombat: Rebirth which starred Michael Jai White as Jax. Backed by WB, Tancharoen produced the first season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy in 2011 and recently released the second season last month. Tancharoen previously stated that his vision for the Mortal Kombat movie was completely separate from the 2010 short or more recent web series. With Tancharoen departing, it's anyone's guess as to whether this will hold true or if this film will even get made.

good, the 2nd season was rushed and kinda ass. they should make a full movie out of the story instead of these throw away web episodes. props to the scorpion vs subzero battle though, they finally took it where it was supposed to go
