First of all, The advert was for the African market. Of course it was gonna have a black person as the "protagonist". Something Americans probably can't understand.

Secondly, the rolling on the floor is a poke at the football players who dive and feign injury, and not at the stereotype about black people loving fried chicken, again, something that Americans probably can't comprehend.

Commercials exactly like this are the exact reason why black american steretypes are prominent globablly.
That's why its racist.

By the way, hold this neg devil's advocate.:mjpls:
I understand your sentiment but it always cracks me up how "they" try to present some stereotypes as negative when there's nothing wrong with it in actuality.
oooooooh people like foods that taste good

They are copying the Neymar .GIF, but what does that have to do with fried chicken?
Still nowhere near as worse that KFC did with Mary.

Dude flopped a penalty to get out of the game and get to KFC.
Showboating pain to draw a penalty is something some soccer players do, and it's not sportsmanlike conduct.
It's, of course, so overdone that you know it's just a joke.
If they had a white, Asian or Hispanic soccer player do the same thing, would it be funny?

Do you think they are casting a negative light on a black person for faking a penalty, or casting a negative light on soccer players for faking a penalty?

You can't take commercials from other countries and apply or view your country's values on them.

Yup, the rest of the world isn't thinking along the same lines. I can't be that outraged at this.

Neymar & the dude playing him are both black

That’s not my point.. Colin Powell is black too but having playing a dark man play Colin Powell as a dark guy doesn’t make sense ...I said nothing about Neymar and actor being black
