I respected Pierce's hatred for LeBron because it made him go harder/made for classic games. The schtick in retirement is corny.
You’d think the Celtics went to 5 straight finals and won four rings the way pierce and Garnett talk

talked all that shyt and didnt even make it to Bron.the only players that I can say were actually shook were Derozen's Raptors because they could never get past them so it was a lasting mental effect.
Bron isnt easy to break mentally
you may have had a point there with young Bron but once he got those chips he's been damn near unfazed. the way he basically handled the ball 90% of the time and walked the Cavs to the finals that last year and then did the same thing that first game against the Warriors was as mentally tough as you can get. now if you wanna say he became deflated after the J.R. Smith play, then I can go with that but damn, he carried them all season. didnt he play like 98 games that year? geez. and only Love, Cedi, and TT remain on that team.
NBA is the worst league in terms of older players giving props to the younger generations BAR NONE

At the time Lebron as an individual was better than the Celtics Big 3 individually, he just didn't have the squad in Cleveland. We saw what happened in Miami and Brooklyn.

Lowkey hope the Celtics find a way to dig themselves outta the hole vs Miami so nikkas can have a good ole fashioned showdown. Pierce & KG's tears the whole series would be worth the price of admission alone.

It's easy to say you broke Lebron, when you have 3 experienced HOFs on the Celtics, 4 all-stars that year i believe including Rondo against Lebron, Mo williams, Antawn Jamison, and 36 year old Shaq. Sounds like fun times. Meanwhile, Ya'll in your 30's and Lebron is 24, Talking bout we broke the kid. At the end of the day, Lebron lead the bum ass no-name Cavs to the finals at age 23. Something that none of the BIg 3 Celtics did before coming together as a collective.
