No, it was not. KGs peak in '04 is even better than Duncan at his peak.

Barkley played ZERO defense and was a net negative on that end. Garnett on the other hand is a top 3 defender of all-time and an elite offensive player because of his ability to shoot and his ball handling / playmaking abilities.

Chuck was the better offensive player but on the defensive end it's not even close. Chuck was a worthless defender who couldn't protect the rim or be an effective one-on-one defender. His effort level was also trash on that end of the floor and he's pretty much himself admitted to not playing defense during his career.
