I played against schea in high school when he was a freshman at Mater Dei. He was on a whole different level than us but he was a 16/17 yr old freshman. Him not doing the bare minimum in school is what messed him up. This was before being able to go to the league out of high school.

Not sure why these cats see the need to lie like they do. You called Kobe about teaming up, right when he was so fukked up off the losing they were doing that he was venting to random nikkas with cameras in parking lots and demanding trades, and he didn't so much as hit you back? Great interview though. The stories about the HS players and MJ, GP, and Timothy were classic.

Same cloth as Jordan, Kobe, Isiah?? Up until he arrived in Boston in 2008, the consensus was the opposite.

If KG had Mike's mentality, with his size, athleticism and skills he would be the GOAT. KG is perfect example of how people focus more so on what a person says or how they make them feel over how they actually get down. That one title in Boston took him from dark-skinned Dirk (when that was an insult) to the all-time super intense leader you don't wanna fukk with . He talking that shyt about Dirk, when young Dirk gave his ass 30 and 15 in a first round sweep.

Kobe plus KG and Pau, and Lamar, and Bynum are top contenders till 2014

Lamar + Bynum were the package that would've been dealt for KG.

And if the KG trade was made, there was no reason for LA to go after Pau.

So it'd have been D-Fish / Kobe / Walton or Radmanovic (if they don't make the trade for Ariza) / KG / Brown (or Turiaf) as starters to begin the season.

I'm no psychic so I don't know how it would've worked out if the trade was made, but we were just fine not making it

Don't wanna go on a thread derail but I hate the fact that guys not being able to do well on an SAT or ACT, or even not giving a fukk about school at all, alters their potential to become great NBA players. More than a few cats were just this way. Not to even be an a$$hole about it, but it's not like that school shyt is even necessary for you to be a good basketball player at all. NCAA always had too much control.

I agree with you about KG.I felt like he was a lil too finesse on offense.Great defender, tho.He barked and yelled a lot, but he was never that physically aggressive on offense.

He'd settle for the fade/mid range J too often.Never really saw that crazed dog, attack, and tear the rim down Amare type aggression from him.
