I've always had KG over Duncan.

the few years KG had any type help, he won the MVP in 2004, then won the Title in 2008, was 1 quarter away from winning in 2010, ECF in 2011.
Duncan was surrounded by HOF talent all his life with the GOAT coach, look at the Spurs now without him, havent missed a beat.

Laker fans are so delusional with this. That 08 series was not close. A young Bynum and a role player (who still played, just played hurt) would have made no difference. Hell, an older, better Bynum wasn't even much of a factor against the C's in 2010. The Celtics lost by 4 points in 7 games without a starting center and a severely compromised KG with the refs favoring the Lakers heavily.

At bum ass Perkins being the reason they lost the finals. Sheed did more in game 7 than Perkins did all series. Be delusional and think lakers wouldn't have won with a healthy line up. Let's not talk about refs either Leon Lowe had 17 ft the night abc was doing a halftime special on him

"Bum ass Perkins" was only part of the reason. KG was not the same after the knee injury, the refs gave the Lakers 20+ FT's in one quarter, and Sheed was old and incapable of playing big minutes (which he was forced to do because of Perks injury). All this in a series that was decided by 4 points. The Lakers went down 2-0, then 3-1, never at any point in the series looked like a threat to win it, got the doors blown off them by 40 points in the clincher, and a 20 year old Bynum (who sucked in the 2010 Finals) was supposed to be the savior? THAT is delusional.
