In college it was either Khalid El-Amin
or Mateen Cleaves

:skip:

I guess Cleaves wasn't fat.
He just had a fat man's head so to me it looked that way

Minneapolis legend :blessed:

I had a class with his wife in college. We had to peer review papers and I saw the El-Amin name and started to talk to her about her husband. Minneapolis North produces our best basketball talents but now they getting poached by neighboring suburban schools :mjcry:

Always wondered what he did to get cut from the Bulls in the middle of a rebuilding season. He must have been an a$$hole on the low or something cause I remember him balling relative to where he was picked in the draft anyway.

Also, it really depends on how you want to look at this.

The best answer to this is either SHAQ or Eddy Curry depending on how you want to define this. Shaq was damn near 400lbs from rumored reports during that late 90's-Early 200's run, but not :flabbynsick: his entire career.

Eddy Curry on the other hand seemed like he was always out of shape, but did have a productive career. He had 6 solid seasons in double figures in PPG and was almost selected to an all-star game when he was on the knicks.

edit: I guess you can also throw older Charles Barkley in this convo as well. We need rules, thread is too open.

Only reason I didn't put those fat big men (Barkley, Zack Randolph, etc) over Khalid El Amin is because he was doing this shyt as a POINT GUARD, that is crazy to me. It's one thing to be a fat post player, it's totally different to be fat and running the game.

How the Hell does somebody leave fat bodies like Mark Aguirre, Kevin Duckworth, John "Hot Plate" Williams, Mel "Dinner Bell Mel" Turpin, Robert "Tractor" Traylor and Oliver Miller out of the best fatballers conversation?
