Totally disagree with this statement that Khalid Muhammad was the last real Black leader. I have friends who are teachers and reccreation center coaches that deal head on with Black youth for community reasons and not just a check. These are the true heros that go unrecognized.

I totally disagree. As someone who can bear witness with my own eyes these recreation coaches around my way are like father figures to young Black kids with no real father figures at home. Dudes literally being the hands on alternative to the traps that are prevalent in the streets. Khalid Muhammad is dead and gone...The recreation coaches are alive. These kids cant go to Khalid Muhammad when they have a real issue in 2019.
