its a re-release of his mixtape he did back in 06

It's actually a little different. They should have changed the name a bit more so people wouldn't get confused. This is all stuff from the Jamla era (2010-now). The old Khrysis on The Boards With The Heat Vol 1 and Vol 2 tapes same out in 06 and 09, and were beats from his older days.

This is all newer stuff. I'm gonna drop the actual songs that all of these beats are from, in case people wanna hear them.

EDIT: This has made me truly realize just how much he's done in the past few years. Jamla definitely has done way more music (that's been released) than Justus League/Little Brother. There are a TON of beats that I figured would've been on here, but weren't. Eric G has 3 albums of all beats he's done for Jamla artists, and it's a year or two behind. If you ever liked J League or Little Brother, definitely check out Jamla.

I have a huge thread with links to basically everything over here: http://www.thecoli.com/posts/7202658/

I was thinking about making a khrysis appreciation thread. He's the backbone of jamla / Justus league. Am I the only one that thinks he's too comfortable being behind 9th tho?

There was a point 5-6 years ago, I would have said Khrysis > 9th, but now, to me, the best and most versatile producer in the camp is Eric G.

Legacy wise, 9th is the best of the camp, but now, if I had to pick in order who would produce the bulk of my album outta the Soul Council

His beats are a perfect blend of the boom bap philosophies of 9th Wonder, and the "futuristsic" elements of post-EDM producers/DJ's.

I'd say he's 60-65% modern, 30-35% boom bap, and it's just :mjcry:
