I wouldn't necessarily blame the Kardashians I would actually blame abc."Streamers" & "influencers" are some of the most obnoxious human beings on the planet. Once upon a time, you had to actually have a talent in order for anyone to care about dedicating time out of their day to sit in front of a screen and look at you. Now, you just set up a tripod or convince a dork with zero aspirations in life to follow you around public with a camera. The Kardashians opened up Pandora's Box. These people really think they're celebrities.
I don't even blame them as much as I fault the people who watch and put money in their pockets for eating breakfast or pretending to work out at the gym. If they didn't have an audience, they'd have to get a job.

I think the turning point was when America's funniest home videos started airing.
I never saw anyone react like this to candid camera, these streamers are weirdos and annoying. Plus they act maliciously which people can tell right off the batThe problem with these pranks is they're dumb as shyt and cooked up by attention whores looking to get views.
Nothing wrong with pranks if they're clever and you know how to read the room.
No it wasn't over, that bytch was still talking crazy, she needed that talk.It was already over.. no point in chasing them down just to repeat yourself… on camera. People are now more likely to find out his identity online![]()

we got people sitting around watching people and being fans of people who do nothingMy man, AFHV had been airing on syndicated television since 1989. Those videos were sent in, laughed at, and forgotten about. "Keeping up With the Kardashians" started airing right around the social media boom. They didn't air one episode and forget about it. They were followed around daily for multiple seasons and acheived notoriety and fame to the degree that "Kardashian clone" became a thing with thousands of women on Instagram literally trying to look Armenian and exotic. Hell, Kim is legitimately notorious for becoming a household name despite having zero talent because she & her mother monetized a sex tape with Ray J.
Social media provided the platform. The Kardashian "reality" show provided an example and blueprint. Absent of a TV deal, YouTube, IG & Twitter allows them to "broadcast." Unlike other "reality" shows, there was no theme or end game. It wasnt Real World, Survivor, or Flavor of Love.
"People will pay to watch me perform mundane tasks and do dumb shìt if I can convince them that I'm somebody important."
