Kid Capri been moving kinda funny in the past few years it seems. Like he has not been too savvy or informed when it comes to certain money/business decisions. A few years ago he did something that had DJ Scratch come at him hard.

He probably started to run low on money, and then went back through his memory for any situations where he should have gotten more, got jerked, etc. But if you didn’t speak on it then it’s hard for people to take it seriously now.

Lord Finesse had to sue Fatboy Slim for sampling his voice for that track "The Rockefeller Skank". That sh*t was everywhere! Now he's getting bread off the record and has like 25% ownership of it. You have to be quick about those situations and be early, so you don’t miss out on getting that money

the particular incident I am referring to I dont remember, it was something Kid Capri posted on IG about someone that was misinformation, Scratch went at him about it prompting Kid to immediately take the post down. If I remember I will post....but I think they were having beef before that, but certainly after, and that was surrounding Versuz

Yep Season 1 and 2 is dope/clever sample manipulation. He should def be paid for season 3 imo.

I would think the issue would be with HBO/Warner (whoever owns that). It's possible he could've signed that use away to them, and since it was all produced by HBO, it fell within the rights.

Basically, HBO used a sample from one show that they owned on another, so...
