thts where your wrong. I listen to ALOT of different shyt. I say any genre because he has a lot of different artist from different genres that worked on the album. the album is its own genre in itself..somewhere between rap, indie, electronic, r&b, and alternative. its a really good musical effort...and im not being hyperbolic when I say its one of the best albums period of the last 5 years..

Frankly, this is how I know Cudi hasn't dropped anything worth listening to.

If Cudi had really made landmark albums that endure to this day, it'd be irrelevant how long he's been gone. You'd respect his statement off rip just because he once released incredible music.

It's not that, it's the fact that it's been so damn long and he's still young. Man on the Moon is a fantastic album and Kid Cudi has a big cult-like following. I say "he has no room to talk" because I feel like he has the ability to release music up to par with his first few albums and mixtapes, yet chooses to release weird experimental rock music instead.
