The thing is this. Good Music was NEVER a true powerhouse when it came to sales. Kid Cudi, John Legend, and Common were the labels big three and Common had a career dating back to 1992 and also was already Chicago's most respected lyricist so you can't attribute that to Good. Most Good Music artists flopped sales wise from the beginning. Really Doe? GLC? Consequence? All flopped commercially speaking. The first "big" homegrown Good Music artist to hit big was John Legend, followed by Kid Cudi.

So Cudi bounces, Common bounces and what do you have left? Mos Def and Q-Tip might as well not even BE on the label. Mr. Hudson:stopitslime: and Cyhi The Prince:leostare: hell even the producers are leaving the label. Smedium Sean's Hall Of Shameful Bars was a flop so that leaves nobody but Pusha T, and with all respects to Pusha when he's the final hope of a label the. Things aren't looking to good....

Kanye didn't flop.

Cudi doesn't even need GOOD he has his own fanbase. He's a star. He did 140k with an album that got panned. If the album had been good he would've done 200K plus easy.

Chainz and Big Sean flopped. You're right Pusha probably will too. None of them have singles and they're all artists that need them.

I don't really care that Legend "flopped" his music targets an older, more mature crowd anyway.
