Still play this at least once a month, underrated album, just shoulda been trimmed down a bit by a few songs

Releaser would be my first pick...

Personal classic

Cudi's best album:wow:

Wholeheartedly agree with both of these. My nikka came out swinging with Frequency and gave us a more than solid product pretty much straight through. It still amazes me that he snagged 3 Stacks for two features, as well as Pharrell on the same album.
Kitchen:banderas:

I loved the Heart of a Lion callback on The Commander :banderas:

I hate that him and my nikka :lupe: fell out :wow:

I'd drop Swim in the Light, Releaser, Does It, Wounds and Distant Fantasies.....none of those songs are trash but they feel kinda repetitive to better songs on the album.....if this album was like 12 tracks, it would hit much harder.

Breh I fukk with Commander....those hums sounds so godly.

This album honestly shoulda got more attention, his team/label fukked up. I'm glad KSG got his name bacc out there more proper but even that was kinda botched by Ye's shytty ass rollout.

I'm hoping he drops again later this year esp since his children are doing so well(Travis Scott, 070 Shake etc)

Right. Dude's been quiet as fukk on the music tip lately.

It seems like outside of Cole, all of our '10s artists are toning their output down considerably.

Oh, and Swim in the Light is my shyt. The only reason I wouldn't get rid of Does It outright is because sonically it sounds straight up like a MOTM1 track, invoking more nostalgia.

Flight at first sight is peak Cudi, lord have mercy. Here's a slowed-down version of the track. This dude could've just repeated that hook for 3 minutes and I'd be satisfied.

"I'm into it, she's a hypnotisstttt" :ahh:

"I like that"

"Looks can't resistttt, hmmmmm":banderas:

"Flight at first sight, flight at first sight, fliiight at first siiiight, oh my oh my, oh my oh my " :whew:
