Exactly.. that was when rap and r&b made an even steeper decline to the point of no return.... you can call him the rap antichrist. The only positive side is that people can be themselves without having to resort to that thug shyt. However, a lot of talent has been compromised where folks aren't even giving their all and acting real cocky for no reason where they think their music is hot when its not. They're average and basic. You can tell that they aren't nearly as inspired to put their best shyt out or are even hungry. They're ready to label their shyt a classic and tell the people that their shyt is hot without the people even saying it. Kid Cudi is a perfect example of this. Dude is telling people his albums are classic when most people never said shyt or forgot about him because he's forgettable as well as his music. That's the problem.
When someone is inspired, you can tell. D'Angelos last album was good for a reason. Kid Cudi wishes he could put out one song of what dAngelo has dropped on any of his albums.

you guys expected better from him? He might as well join the edm wave. He can let those computer noises cover up his half assedness. He's one of the few artists that I'm surprised has EVER had a record deal. His demo tape and even his mixtape were nothing outstanding. What did the labels see in him?
