It's not just automatic admission, isn't there scholarship money attached to the rule?

No disrespect, but getting accepted into a state school shouldn't be that difficult for those who didn't crack the top x percentage of their graduating class.

I want to say your tuition is/was free (i think it was everything expect board + books) with that. I know it was a big big deal.

Im not 100% on that tho. I tore my hamstring my senior year so I was jaded af and didn't put much effort into going to college.
