kid rock has switched musical genres multiple times over the past 20 years and he is still succesful. started out a rapper in detroit, then became world famous as a rap/rock act, then switched to straight rock, and now he is a country singer. dude shouldnt have had success in any genre but somehow he is one of the few people in the world to ever get a diamond album.
