My mom has a long track record of buying wrong games, wrong clothes, wrong toys, wrong everything. I learned at a young age to just save money I got from chores or on the basketball court to get what I really wanted.
In the meantime I was somewhat grateful for getting something and somewhat good at hiding disappointment.

There is no excuse for the mom to get the wrong video game. Black friday had a sale and i got mine from target for 35 bucks. If you don't wanna pay 60 bucks for a game, just tell your son that. But dont sit here and give the it's out of stock excuse. When gamestops, target and walmart are all over. You can't fool kids thinking they won't notice.

Breh I was a highschool freshman, and the game was getting nuts. We were 5 or so sets in, my deck holding ridiculous shyt: Yata Garasu, Gemini Elves, Goblin Attack Force.

Just value stuff that typically stomps kids out. I was on a tournament losing streak...the last one I went to, I got smacked up by this fukker with 3 goblin attack force and 3 spear dragons

in his deck...beat me FAST. I get ready to leave and notice someone looted my bag as it was between my legs. Took a great deal of my expensive shyt by hiding under the pinball table right behind me.

Long story short, sold all my shyt, worth a couple grand, for $100 bucks and a sandwich. I was heartbroken that I could get robbed in my own stomping ground. Someone took my shyt, and we have 30

people in a shop all saying they didn't see anything.:letyasoulglow:

Man the same thing happened to me. After I was able to get independent studies in high school I had a shyt load of free time. I ended filling that time playing YuGiOh till my friends got out of school. I got really good and was winning tournaments and shyt. Almost made top 8 at a regional and was just playing for days nonstop. I forgot what the place is called but it was like a huge swap meet for card games. I was playing at a table and they did the same shyt to me. Swiped everything right from under my chair. I never recovered after that. I'd spent so much time and money into putting that deck together. After that I still tried playing but it wasn't the same.

shyt, I remember waiting 2 or 3 years for sequels to Nintendo games. Had a nikka like for Tech Bowl. Bout time Super Tecmo Bowl came out half of the roster had retired the other half was traded to new teams.

My dad wouldn't give a fukk what I asked for tho, always got me a book on how to play chess and a poolstick. Knowing I don't really play either, except pool now.
