What's the point of hustling to make money if the education is lacking?
It's like going to law school and not knowing how to read or write.

And the fact they're so young on the street getting dangerously close to strangers hustling water is equally alarming and problematic.

to be honest these kids show a lack of curiosity. everything will not be enforced in school

While geography has all but been abandoned in school curriculum, this is still an indictment on their parents and family at large. The fact they out there selling water tells it all. Much easier in their family mind to stick them out there for the summer than to pull money together to send them to a summer program
