That little white boy said he feels sorry for people who grew up in the 90's. If he only knew the joy of growing up in that era. We actually had to go outside to socialize, hated staying home but had to be home by 7pm. I use to tape my Walkman to my bike and bike 30 minute to the nearest tower records to read the latest issue of the source :wow:. By the time I get home those 1 dollar battery in my Walkman dies out, making Pac sound like a chop and screwed record.

Just think, in 10 maybe 15 years (if "Kids React To" is still a thing) they'll do a reaction video about CD players.

Man I thought I was the only person that bought a mini-disk player. I thought they were going to be big cause you didn't have the problem of scratched disks cause they were in a cassette of sorts, they didn't get rattled by movement as easily and they had better battery life than portable cd players. I still have my portable mini-disk player and my gigantic player/recorder deck.

Mini-disk was deaded cause it posed too much of a threat to the music industry at the time in regards to piracy.

THis X 1,000,000

I feel sorry for kids that grew up in the 00s. They really come off like extremely arrogant self-entitled know it alls with attitude problems due to staying inside and socializing with people online and not socializing with people offline.

BTW, I had people give me the crazy looks when they saw me on the M train on the way to work with my walkman. I felt like kind of a hipster with it today considering I had two disposable cameras with me too (one color one b/w).

Quick story:

My boy bought a Jeep Wrangler from someone and was riding in it with his daughters (9 and 7). When the girls got home they were telling their mom abou the joyride and went:

"Oh... and to open the window he has to do something with his arm"

Thats when we realized most kids these days have no clue what the "ROLL" part means when you tell them to "roll the window down" :heh:

Breh, my mini-disc player still goes hard. Not only can I play music but I can record to my mini disc. The disc were scratch free. I also could erase and re-record on them. It was the best portable music player I ever had at the time. Listening to music sounded fantastic on those devices. I remember when Sony came out with laptops that had built in mini-disc players, I wanted to cop one so bad.
