Every one of my friends who had a kid said that their marriages have never been the same since.Their wife isn't as effectionate towards them anymore..the sex life is nearly non existent and their both always on edge from lack of sleep .

Once you have that kid he or she is the most important person in your life now not your partner. That relationship will never be the same and never be as strong as it once was once you have a kid

It can be true, but if you think about it it's a good test on how much y'all love each other and how strong your relationship is. If you can get through the first five years(in my experience that's how long it takes before they're more independent, going to kindergarten and whatnot) then you pretty much have a solid relationship.

Your friends maybe just weren't ready for that shyt

Me and my fiancé had our rough patches but we worked through it. It gets easier as the kids get older . Sure you can't go out all the time and party and shyt, but if you have kids and that's what you're worried about you probably shouldn't have been a parent in the first place :yeshrug:

:stopitslime:The only way I see kids ruining a relationship or marriage is of they are on some destruction type shyt. What I mean is that they are purposely plotting to break the relationship or marriage up by doing crazy shyt that would pit the couple against each other. Sometimes I feel like people blame kids on a failed relationship marriage when the relationship or marriage was already bad to begin with.:yeshrug:

kids only ruin marriages between selfish people.

"my wife isnt paying attention to ME anymore"

if both people are committed to family then they are ready for the hard work and it will only make their relationship stronger.

Good points.as far as the complaints it's not as much not being able to go out when want it's more the wife isn't showing u the same amount of love an defection as before and the alone bonding time between each other is gone
