I don’t understand how this band made it big. I like a lot of rock, but they always sounded generic and sing-songy to me. And the premise is this album (judging by the title) is the laziest idea of a punk album (not that I’m super knowledgeable about the genre).
This is why context is so important. Especially in this age of misinformation.He's satirizing American politics, not advocating for killing dissenting homosexuals.

They allow white artists to get away with satire. A black group would get criticized no matter the context IMOHe's satirizing American politics, not advocating for killing dissenting homosexuals.
