Rewind easily..
Nas came with a simple approach and made it dope and fun to listen.

on paper, KP would have been more interesting i guess.

I remember Tragedy said that Nas was able to express and tell a story within 20 bars or something, this is rare to hear..tragedy was referring to "thugs calm down".
Rewind was short and constructed like a movie.

two completely different concepts. wouldn't compare them.

from then till now and what goes around are better songs to compare. or ghetto prisoners and mystic city. or fetus and black august dark, etc.

a very dope song that i never see get props is Through the Looking Glass. The real proper version that is.

behind the stained glass gets more spins from me than the offering.

i never knew about a different version of looking glass. i know there 2 different versions of vintage.

the 1st or demo version of looking glass is weak. The version that was put on the tape and elsewhere has the dope verse with the Name drops (wd fard, z york, elijah etc).

:salute:
