This could be confirmation bias, but there's certain points when he's talking to his Mom, where he hints, that she doesn't really know her son, and his voice sometimes takes on a different tone. Granted, granted, those are excepts of longer convos, and over a jail phone call, but it resonated with me. Obviously, that was the intent, but it worked for me. Plus, the QB is credible, to get his macho man marine Dad to sit with him, I found it credible.

I wanted to believe Aaron Hernandez was gay but after this doc. You can tell that high school QB guy was lying his ass off. You could tell he got a book out or a book coming in the near future about Aaron Hernandez. The cops was trying to say the motive to kill Odin Lloyd was he knew he was gay. But Odin Lloyd never once said or text to somebody like yo you know that NFL player Aaron Hernandez he was gay af been.
